Mark Telford was a greyhound trainer, breeder, and stud-keeper for many years. He trained a dog that broke the track record at Mullingar over 600 yards on the old grass surface. The record had previously stood for 34 years.

He bred hundreds of puppies for clients and for himself and reared these and many more, often until they started preparation for racing. he believes the insight this experience provided, gives him a unique perspective in understanding dog behaviour. As he says himself, "It never failed to amaze me how much the pups learned from their mother until weaning and beyond and the respect they had for her, even though she could be very rough with them when they stepped out of line. I realised that the closer training was to the dog's natural instincts and the more natural to the way dog's think, the more effective and quicker it became. My whole philosphy and training stems from this belief.

Cars With Two Stroke Engines

Original price was: €9.99.Current price is: €5.99.

This book covers what I consider to be the best cars (& vans) with 2-Stroke engines that were made by conventional car makers. The marques covered are D.K.W, Saab, Subaru, Suzuki, Wartburg, Trabant, I.F.A, Framo, Barkas, F.S.O, Lloyd, Goliath, Goggomobil and Melkus. I have tried to stick to cars with enough room for a small family as well as small commercial vehicles. This means I didn’t include very many microcars. I had to draw the line somewhere 2-Stroke cars were made from 1928 to 1990 and the book is a celebration of a bygone era when cars were a lot simpler and easier to maintain. The book covers the history, specifications, road tests, model changes, buyers guides, period adverts, prototypes and political climate that was prevalent at the time. It is not meant to be a workshop manual.

Dog Recall

Recall Training Made Simple.

Please note: I have priced this book low for a limited time. The following information will enable you to effectively train any dog to come back to you, no matter what distractions might be present.

Note: I have alternated between ‘he’ and ‘she’ when relating to dogs of either sex.

Your dog might sit, lie down or give a paw on command, but these things mean little if he does not come back to you when called off leash. Good recall is the single most important aspect of dog training, and the absence of this control over your dog means you can’t or shouldn’t (if responsible) let her off the lead. Having a dog that will return to you when called, even in the face of the heaviest of distractions, is vitally important and nothing less than this will do if you are to let ‘Rover’ off the leash in public places. Not only does it ensure responsibility for your dog, but also consideration for other people and other animals. Recall training may even save the life of your dog one day.
